She lived her childhood years in Montrose. She graduated from Montrose High School in 1962 and went on to attend school at Sioux Valley School of Nursing, graduat- ing with a registered nurs- ing degree in 1965. She later earned a bachelor of sci- ence in education from Southern State College in 1974. Sandy and Roger Moell- er were united in marriage on June 18, 1966, in Sioux Falls. The couple was blessed with 51 years of marriage, during which they welcomed three chil- dren: Mark, Cory and Juli.

During ca- reer, she worked at the Method- ist School of Nursing in Mitchell and enjoyed 33 years of ser- vice with the Sioux Falls School District, where she taught at the LPN (licensed practical nurse) school and was a school nurse at Axtell Park Middle School. Sandy was also an active member of the School Nurses Association and oth- er professional organiza- tions. An active member of the Brandon Lutheran Church, Sandy happily gave of her time to the WELCA, Circle and volunteering to teach Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She could of- ten be found playing the pi- ano and rejoiced in listening to music and attending the local theater. Much of her time was spent watching her children participate in their various activities and could often be seen cheering them on from the sidelines.

Grateful for having shared in her life are: her husband, Roger; her three children: Mark Moeller, Co- ry (Kelli) Moeller, and Juli (Todd) Jess; her two grand- children, Brooke and Tatum Moeller; her sister Sheryl (Paul) Keup; her two broth- ers, Ken (Joan) Raap and Paul (Laurie Lausen) Raap; and her nephews and nieces; and great nephew and nieces. 7, 2017, at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Sioux Fall. A me- morial visitation was held on Friday, which included a time for memory sharing and prayer service at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. Norman Richard Stahl was born Oct. 24, 1935, in Grinnell, Iowa, to Henry Edward and Esther Marie (Fry) Stahl. He was raised on the family farm near Grinnell and received his education in Poweshiek County, Iowa, graduating from Montezuma High School in 1954.

Following high school, Norm entered the U.S. Air Force in 1954. When his en- listment was up in 1959, he attended William Penn Col- lege in Oskaloosa, Iowa, re- ceiving an associate of arts degree in pre-law. In 1963, he re-enlisted in the Air Force. His best years were when he was an inflight re- fueling technician on KC-135 aircraft and flew refueling tracks for fight- ers and B52s in Southeast Asia.

Norm retired in 1978, making his home in Rapid City. Norman was united in marriage with Joan Ber- nice Shepherd on Aug. 11, 1956. From this union, Nor- man was blessed with a daughter, Beverley and a son, Stephen. On June 18, 1981, Nor- man was united in mar- riage with Susan (Loren- zen) Mehrer in Rapid City.

The couple then moved to Lake Ste- vens, where Norm worked for the Boeing Company as a research electrician. He retired from Boeing in 2000 and the couple made their home in Brandon. Norm had many pas- sions in his life, his love of God, his family, music, rid- ing his motorcycle, his pride in serving in the armed forces.

He began singing four-part harmony with his brothers in high school and never stopped singing. A member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church and Empire Riders chapter of CMA, Norm spoke at The Gospel Mission, treatment centers and the prison. He had 33 years of sobriety and liked helping those that wanted to change their direction in life. Norm enjoyed wood- working, hand-pressed copper work, remodeling every home he lived in and mechanics. He had the gift to fix about anything. Above all, he loved spend- ing time with his family and friends.
