Her Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Dell Rapids. Funeral arrangements were under the care of Kahler Funeral Home.

www.kahlerfh.com Bonnie was born on April 19, 1935, to Frank and Ella (Lewis) Walker in Junius, S.D. She grew up on the family farm and attended school in Madison, and graduat- ed from high school there. After high school, she worked in Madison, where she met Herman Lail. Together they had three children: Aloma, Rick and Vern. Following their breakup, Bonnie moved to Sioux Falls, and in 1970 mar- ried Robert Sorsen.

This union pro- duced a daughter, Tabitha, born in 1973. Bonnie also lovingly embraced three children: Michone and Jill. Bonnie was known as a caregiver, de- voted most of all to her husband, Robert. She loved all her children, grandchil- dren and great-grandchildren. Her tal- ents included playing the organ, sew- ing, and baking.

She also made original, intricately designed gin- gerbread houses from scratch. She is survived by her husband, Rob- ert; children Sorsen, Aloma (Bob) Graham, Michone (Paul) Collins, Rick Lail, Vern (Dana) Lail, Jill Sorsen and Tabitha (Ryan) Merriam; 12 grandchil- dren and 11 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, all three of her siblings and two grandchil- dren. Tributes and gifts can be directed to the family, which will be distributed to various charities. OBITUARIES Bonnie Sorsen, 83 Bonnie Sorsen Teresa Ann Boyum, 91, of Sioux Falls peacefully passed away Friday evening at her home at Prince of Peace.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Fri- day, April 26 at the Cathedral of St. Jo- seph in Sioux Falls. Inurnment will take place at a later date as Teresa has gener- ously donated her body to the Univer- sity of South Body Donation Program. Teresa recognized the value of this gift toward the education of our fu- ture healthcare professional and she would encourage all to consider such a gift. Teresa was born on the family farm in Dell Rapids to Albert T.

and Anna Mae (Keefer) Bowen on December 23, 1927. Teresa was the youngest of three children, grow- ing up with her sister Ber- nadine and brother Bill. Teresa attended St. Mary Catholic School in Dell Rapids, Class of 1945. Teresa was united in marriage to Norvald James Boyum on September 26, 1946.

Jim and Teresa welcomed six children into their family, Kathleen, James, Thomas, Mark, Susan and Daniel and last fall celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary. Teresa was a strong, gentle, kind- hearted woman who together with Jim, raised their six children. In addition to raising four often rambunctious boys and two adorable girls, Teresa helped with the family enterprise on the 7D7 Mink Ranch at Renner. Later in life, Te- resa was side-by-side with Jim when they launched their en- deavor when they founded I-90 White GMC in 1985. Together, they operated I-90 until 1993 when they retired for good.

Teresa and Jim spent the next 12 years wintering in Mesa, AZ, surround- ed by family and friends. In 2005 Teresa and Jim returned full-time to South Da- kota, moving to Dell Rapids where they resided for 12 years. In 2017 they moved to Sioux Falls, residing at Laurel Oaks Apartments at Prince of Peace. Teresa was a quiet, wom- an and for 91 years she provided roots and wings for her family. How appropri- ate that she passed away on Good Fri- day a wonderful day to return to the Lord.

She will be missed by all who knew her. Those grateful to have shared her life are husband Jim (d), daughters Kath- leen and Sue (Brian Rainey). Sons Jim (d) (Kathy), Tom (Janet), Mark (Lora Cady) and Dan (Pam). Grandchildren Gia (d), BJ (Carla), Shane, April (Ryan), Cody (Christy), Jessie (James), Jeremi- ah, Tressa, Zach (Christine), Dulcie, An- nie, Dylan, Bowen, Max, Olivia, Eva, eighteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and many trea- sured nieces and nephews. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Bernadine; brother, Bill; son, Jim; and granddaughter, Gia.

Fu- neral services were held on Monday, April 29, 2019, at First Lutheran Church, Colton. Interment was in the Zion Lu- theran Cemetery, Colton. Mary Carol Ann (Carol) Ramstad was born in Sioux Falls on March 25, 1944 to parents Earl Jenne (Johnson) Dickson. She was raised in Sioux Falls. Carol mar- ried Ramstad on November 10, 1962.

They had two children Kim (Garry) Rempfer, Bridge- water, S.D. and Tim (Fay) Ramstad, Col- ton, S.D. Carol had grandchildren, Eric (Karen) Varns, Kelsey Ramstad, An- drew Varns, Nicole (Tyler) Backus, and Hanna Ramstad, and two great-grand- children, Emily Varns Jacob Varns. During her career, Carol worked as a at Anderson Flower Shop as well as helping her husband and son with the family construction business. Carol was an avid volunteer and divided her time between Sioux Valley Hospital, where she was a mem- ber of the auxiliary, and First Lutheran Church in Colton, where she was a member.

In her free time, Carol enjoyed painting and crafting, and especially spending time with her grandkids. Christmas was her favorite time of year. She thoroughly enjoyed decorating and spending time with her family. Carol is survived by her husband their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her sister Bet- ty Lamp. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Jim Allen Dick- son.
